@stevieb Anne Weatherley.  Salad plate around $300, cup and saucer about $440.  Hand painted in Budapest.  Aren't they fabulous?  Wow.  Each piece a work or art.

It's pretty, but doesn't make sense.  Is the hostess going to pick up a salad plate?  Probably not.

The cup and saucer should be to the right above the knife to be served.  The other china sould be properly set to pass food since no one has "servers" as in the day of Downton.

I just love butterflies and their daintiness.  The dinnerware is beautiful.

We actually have a butterfly museum here in Deerfield, MA .. that is, if you can handle the extreme humidity they're in.  I went once, there're so many varieties but couldn't wait to leave .. I just don't deal well with humidity, nevermind how high it was in this museum.
