I love the pale pink and white and the lilacs. We are finally having some cooler weather, meaning in the 60's, so I am enjoying my winter decor finally. I know those of you suffering from a surfeit of polar vortex weather are probably longing for spring, but the timing of the seasons is different where I live in California.

Hello Marsha...

I also love the picture with the lilacs. Love that pitcher too. It's good to see another Californian on here. It's been so incredibly warm here. We have not had any winter and finally today it has cooled off some. So I know exactly what you mean. I also feel for all the folks who have been in these waves of arctic air. We haven't had one bit of winter here in CA and so many others have had too much. Nice to see another fellow Californian on the forum {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}.

Oh! I love lilacs and the picture of them is beautiful. I wish they lasted longer because their fragrance is intoxicating. Also love the soft creams and pastel. So pretty! Thanks whitelinen for sharing on this cold and gloomy day.

Hi, Bobby K!

I never realized you were a fellow Californian. It's neat to have someone else who understands that it's still summer in September and October when everyone else is getting excited over autumn decor and still winter (as much as we have anyway) in May...LOL!

Hello Marsha...

I always enjoy your posts. And yes, isn't it the truth...I'm a California native, born and raised, and we are sure having some strange weather this year. I'm in Northern CA, and our weather is all over the place. It's good to know there is another CA girl on this forum {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}.

Love this! Cannot wait. We are expecting up to a foot of snow next Tues/Weds. Then another possible storm the week after!!

The birdbath looks like a tree!! I must get one of these for my squirrels...and the birds too, I guess. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Cherry blossom bathroom...

Can you imagine having a basin like that? I'd never want to spit toothpaste into it!!

It's very pretty, but I'm not sure I'd want it... Ornate sinks were very popular a few years back, but I rarely see them even in bath specialty stores any more. This one is unusually appealing, though I'd probably have selected different fixtures to go with it.
