That is beautiful, love the Netherlands.
We also have some colorful rows of Victorian houses in my hometown of San Francisco in Alamo Square known as the "Painted Ladies".

Speaking of Baltimore, you can't get greater than 34th st-The Miracle of 34th St every Christmas!

My sister took me to see it one year and also I read that to move there you have to agree to decorate your house. Isn't that so wonderful?!
Thank you 34th st! and thanks Sis!![]()

Beautiful houses that put a smile on your face.
My cousins just came back from a Mediterranean Cruise and they sent me pictures of the colored houses in Italy and Croatia...all so happy looking.

There is beauty all over the world. I love the different color homes, so bright and cheerful.

@ciao_bella Did you love Bermuda? It is so beautiful and is one of my favorite places. I have vacationed there 15 times.

@Enufstuff I loved Bermuda! It's my favorite of all the islands I've been to.
Since we were staying with a friend who lived on the island, he brought us to a lot of local places that tourists don't generally get to see and experience. He had a house on the top of a very high hill/cliff that overlooked a beautiful area of the bay. Had my first Rum Swizzle at the island's famous Swizzle Inn, which is the oldest Pub on the island and located in Hamilton. Our friend was a close friend of the owners. In your travels to Bermuda, did you ever get to stop at the Swizzle Inn?
We also rented motor scooters to get around on our own when he was working at the Naval base. I was so taken by the beautiful landscape; lovely lily ponds and the tiny wild roses growing all along the roadways. Getting used to driving on the opposite side of the road was a little tricky at first.

@Kachina624 wrote:@PA Mom-mom. It looks like a housing development as the styles seem to repeat and they all appear to be newish. I don't know about the AI as the place has a name.
I think it is fairly new. My son, the architect, says that is the way homes will be built in the future in America, because we are taking up too much land with McMansion homes and as the population increases there is need for more houses, closer together, instead of so many **** cheaply built apartments that bring about crime. (I omitted the 4-letter word he used).

I was going to post them but you beat me to it "The painted ladies."

Rainbow Row, Charleston, SoCar. These were where ammunition was placed by the North during the Civil War. Prior to that, they were owned by middle-class homeowners. Now they are priced exorbitantly.
