My husband has started going to local PA State Stores several days a week. There is a group of men that check out what the local State Store got in their delivery. They are looking for bourbon. It is the funniest thing to watch. A group of 10-15 men standing in line before the state store opens.

There is a bagel shop next door. So the parking lot is always busy. And it looks like these men can't wait for the State Store to open (they can't). But they are looking for certain bourbon's. My husband's favorite bourbon hadn't been delivered in over a year. So he tries not to miss a delivery.

BUT Blanton's is a highly desired bourbon. The top of the bourbon bottle has a horse (for Louisville). And each top also has a letter. And if you spell out the word Blanton's you can send away and Blanton's will use  wood froom a barrel and use the tops to make a display made out the plank of barrel wood. It is quite nice. 


It is good marketing. To not only want you to purchase their product but also have attractive items after the product is gone.

A lot of Tequila bottles are pretty. I have ordered Tequila from Old Town Tequila online and a lot of their bottles are really pretty.

I bought a bottle of tequila for my boss a few years ago for Christmas, the bottle was very similar to this.

He loved the tequila, his wife like the bottle! LOL!

@GingerHead @Carmie   Both beautiful bottles.

We always called them "state stores" for liquor, now we call them wines and spirits.  (PA).  Although recently, I saw mini liquor bottles in Sheetz (convenience/gas stations), which surprised me.

I knew there was a better name than Booze Store! haha....note to self "Liquor Store." I think that's what they call them in Oregon too.
