If any of you still iron and use starch, Beekman 1802 now has a powdered laundry starch you can use in your washer or they provide a spray bottle to mix and spray as you go.  I don't do as much ironing as I used to when my DH & I worked, but I do still have table linens and some shirts I like to iron.

I've never used a starch in my laundry although I have used spray starch when ironing.  I don't iron much anymore except when sewing.

I would not want to take a chance with gumming up my washer or hoses.  Wonder how a septic would like it?

Do people still starch their clothes? I thought it was a thing of the past. I have only used starch for craft projects, not for my clothing. In fact, I had a heck of a time finding liquid starch a few years back when doing a craft with my grandkids.

I like a light starch because the fabrics look crisp and fresh.  Another thing is that stains come out so easy, especially on table linens.

Thank you for posting this!

I was thinking about upgrading my holiday tablecloths and yep, I still iron them.

DS still takes his dress shirts to the shirt laundry. A service that's hard to find anymore.

Nor ironing board since 1968.

Anything that needs ironing/pressing goes to the cleaners.  Ironing/pressing-$1.00-$1.50 an item.
