Porch color

Hi Guys,

My husband built us a front porch a few years ago. It's just a light wood color. I'd like to paint it so it shows up and looks nice from the road. Our house is sideways so the front of the house and our porch actually faces our next door nieghbor. I'm thinking white might be the best but not sure. Our house is a really light grey color with black shutters. Our front door is also black. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks :-) Susan
