Re: Pops of Orange from Two Angles

I'd clear out the whole house (except perhaps the Buddha print) and start tabla rasa.  The rooms have lots of potential...

I like this room.  I would have to have some "pops" of traditional French artwork, a couple silk textured wing chairs rust colored pillows on the sofa and an Oriental rug that had faded to soft orange with a deeper orange mid century modern chair.

Too modern, too orange.

I wouldn't mind the furniture in an older structure, but I don't like the modern furniture in the modern home.  And I don't really love the orange.

The space looks to be potentially nice and I like orange, but the overall too modern vibe of both the decor and the space is a deal-breaker for me.

Re: Pops of Orange from Two Angles

First impression:  IMO, this interior designer needs to retire.

Even the architecture of the room leaves a lot to desire.

With the furniture in place, the room looks bottom heavy.  It needs something to soften those high walls and white window coverings make it worse. Windows need printed drapes or something to soften them and the walls.

Sectional sofas are bad news...always separate.  Some of this furniture right out of the 50's.  Everything too modern for me.  Don't like the orange.

The ceiling light has to go, too.

I'd remove everything and start over.  Actually, I'd never buy this house.

Welcoming & very pretty.  The orange is a nice pop but the chair/ottoman look "futuristic" to me.  Don't like the art either.

I like pops of orange, but not a fan of anything in the room.

Re: Pops of Orange from Two Angles

Like the space. Like orange.

I do think the dining area is kind of dull compared to the rest. Needs some more of the orange in there - maybe an abstract print on the chairs or a pattern in a rug... something...

The wall decor here is lacking any real interest. (And, that face between the windows just really needs to go.)

Not liking orange?, any bold color would work well here.
