And why do you wash them this way?
This turned into a heated argument (believe it or not) over brunch. But it DID make me think about why I wash them the way I do and maybe it IS the wrong way. TIA.

I do not intentionally wash socks inside out.

Don't they get washed on the inside if you leave them outside-out??

I turn my t-shirts and pajamas inside out - but not my socks.

I don't turn them inside out, why would you ?

I wash with the outside out. That is where they are the dirtiest.

I don't think I've ever heard of turning socks inside out to wash them....so no, I don't do that. Both sides are getting washed anyway, so it sort of seems like extra work!

Yes, I wash my socks inside out after a few washings. I do this because there is lint inside the socks and I don't like it when I take my socks off only to find lint balls.
Ever hear of 'toe jam'? ![]()
