I think the first one looks more comfortable, but I like the height of the second one.

I like the second one just because it's a little different than the usual leather chair.

Hi..sorry I know I still did not get a chair and saw the first chair in Pottery Barn yesterday.. and am still stuck. LOL Just cannot decide between these two now.by the way I am 5' 9 1/2 ""

The sales lady said to me...if your sofa and matching chair already has tufting than you should get the other accent chair without tufting. What do you think?

The first one, to me is more "family room" while the second one is more "library or study". If you are taller, you might benefit from the higher back of number 2, but number 1 looks more comfortable.

Have you sat in both?
