@SportyShorty07   Hi Louise,

                                    Thank you very much. I knew that being an artist yourself, you would appreciate the work that went into these, even though I just copied small dimestore prints and they were not my original creations. I can't take credit for the composition of them. I just fell in love with the originals, as a young teen and was happy when I found the small framed pictures at Woolworth's.

  Of all the paintings I've  done, whether in oils or water colors,

Pinky and Blue Boy are my favorites.

  In my first house, they were in my gold and white living room. They hung on a wall above a sofa done in white cut velvet with a gold tone pattern. That was in the 70's and I had a gold tone shag rug.  Groovy, huh?

  You are always so generous and kind with your compliments.

I would love to see some of your work too. With your art education, I'm sure that you must have created some wonderful

pieces of art. I look forward to seeing some of them.

                                   Take care,

                                             Donna

@Enufstuff  Hello there, lovely Donna!  Thank you so much for your sweet words- its an absolute delight to look at your artwork.  Your art lifts my spirits and really is such a treat to look at- my eyes fance arounf the Toni creations and I love the jewelry and the paintings that you did Smiley HappyHeart  I think its lovely that you were able to recreate your beloved Pinky and Blue Boy paintings- and I love the 70's living room that you described! I'm a big fan of that interior design and colors of that decade. .  One of my most prized posessions is a 1970's 14 speed avocado green Waring Futura blender with a thick glass jar and an avocado green lid- I use it to mix all of my marinades Smiley Very Happy.  I'll look through my computer in the next day or so and try to find where I put my artwork file and then I'll post them for you.  Thank you for your kind words and excitement about my art! -Louise Smiley Happy

@SportyShorty07    Wow! You have some fancy blender, with 14 speeds. In the 70's I just had a cheapo blender and I mostly used it to make baby food from home made chicken and rice soup or beef stew with carrots and potatoes in it.

 I would put the pureed soup in ice cube trays and freeze. Then I could just thaw out a cube or two for baby's meal.

  I'm glad that you enjoy seeing some of my creations and I thank you for your appreciation.

 I look forward to seeing your artwork.

@Enufstuff  I got the blender on ebay about 12 years ago and I love how retro it looks.  That was so clever of you to puree soups and stews in your blender and then put it in ice cube trays to defrost for baby food! Your kids must've loved your cooking then and now! Smiley HappyHeart Such a thoughtful mommy!
