I am a side sleeper and like a firm pillow. Can anyone recommend a good firm pillow that won't go flat after a month? I have tried brands that say they won't ever go flat but they do...very frustrating so any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Re: Pillow that won't go Flat

We've bought very expensive ones, cheap ones, highly rated ones and in-between ones.  Our solution is to go to tj maxx or Tuesday Morning and buy new ones  I have NO other solution for you.

We did that Saturday as a matter of fact!  LOL

I too am a side sleeper, and I've tried  many, many pillows. My favorite is by sleep innovations, it's the 2 in 1  memory foam on one side a d fiber fill on the other. It is firm, but not like a brick. My advice is go to Amazon and check out their sleep innovations pillows, I'll bet you find what you're looking for.

I posted this but it didn't post so I don't know if its cause I had a picture or what but the best pillow I've ever had is a Claritin anti-allergen pillow-comes in side sleeper and back sleeper.

I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond.

It has great support, doesn't fall down but is not hard-wonderful pillow!

Re: Pillow that won't go Flat

For almost 10 years,  I've been using the Tony Little pillows from HSN.   They are filled with millions of tiny microbeads and mold to your head and neck.   I don't guess they'll ever wear out although the case might.   You have to use the stretchy,  zippered case that comes with them,  although I also put them in a regular case.   The memory foam pillows,  molded or chunks (My Pillow) give me horrible head and neck aches.

Re: Pillow that won't go Flat

I have a set of Sabakawa pillows that I've been using for about 20 years! They are filled with buckwheat hulls.  I know that sounds like it would be uncomfortable, but they are the most supportive pillows and never wear out (except maybe the case would after a huge amount of wear).  You can just mold the thing into whatever shape you want, and it stays like that.  As a back sleeper, I would kind of foof the thing up, then punch a hole in the center for my head before getting into bed.  I would reshape it if I rolled over on my side.  They are pretty heavy, though.

Re: Pillow that won't go Flat

A pillow that will NEVER go flat is a natural LATEX foam pillow.

I have them on every bed and would never buy anything else.

I have had the best luck finding them online.  There are firm and soft styles.  Be aware that firm is pretty firm in natural latex.  The pillows are more expensive that regular foam.  They are also hypoallergenic.

I bought the last pillows from "Foam Sweet Foam", but there are other brands.  They come in really small packages.... you will be sure they sent the wrong thing!  If you have a young child, be sure to let them watch while you let the pillow re-inflate!  It's quite fun!

Chiroflow water pillow.  Hands down the BEST pillow I have ever used.  Looks and feels like a regular pillow, but inside is a water chamber.  I fill mine with distilled water.  You can make it as firm or soft as you like.  I've had mine for 4 years and it has never leaked. You can buy them on Amazon.  I no longer have headaches or neck pain.  I'm a back sleeper and side sleeper.  They are nicely padded, so you would never know it had water in it.  It has never leaked either.
