Several of those are just lovely. Alas, I have been a desert dweller all of my life...though it would be lovely to visit, I cannot bear the cold, damp weather.

I just LOVE castles!

Today we celebrate Ireland.

Well, Ashford Castle is a beautiful hotel, and we stayed there for several days. I would be happy to return any time!

We toured Adare Manor and ate lunch there.

Other famous castle hotels in Ireland include Dromoland and Waterford.

There are also castles just for special medieval banquet dinners, like Bunratty.
