Pet couch protector slipping

How do you keep this cover from slipping? I'm always fixing it. Anybody got any hints to fix this problem?

Re: Pet couch protector slipping

Slipping has always been a problem with any type of slipcover.  I did eliminate my mattress topper moving by putting a rug pad beneath it.  These pads are paper-thin and look like white felt.  They have a stickiness to them that doesn't transfer and is repositionable.  They come in standard area rug sizes.  I think I've seen them at Home Depot and/or Lowe's but I got mine at Overstock.

There is also a rubbery web-like material that you can buy at some fabric stores like Hancock's..  It's often available in stores that cater to RVers who cut it to fit shelving to keep thing from moving around.

If furniture back won't be seen, how about several large pins?

or, try long Velcro strips horizontally on back of furniture.  They attach nicely to fabric -- I used this to attach a cut dust ruffle to the edge of a too short down comforter so it would cover to the top of the regular dust ruffle.

Nothing ventured... Good Luck.
