First impression:   Functionality and maintenance take precedence.

What a way to destroy the appearance of an old floor...paint blocks on it.  I see water seeping into the cracks causing damage. It may have a waterproof finish, but I never had good luck with waterproofing real wood long term.  If the wall behind the bathtub is wood, same problem with water. 

The tub looks so tiny, not long enough to stretch out your legs.  Sinks too small, no place to put cosmetics and hair products.  Of course, some might have dressing areas elsewhere.  

Never liked wall hangings in the bathroom.  Glunky dust collects everywhere and I don't want to be cleaning it off decor.

Overall, this bathroom is impractical.  It would annoy me.

I absolutely love the floor - the entire bath in fact but the color doesn't match or go with the grey tub. The floor looks great with everything else in the room, I'd have left the tub all white.

I would never paint hardwoods unless there was a stain(s) that couldn't be sanded out and this was a way to cover it up inexpensively.

I do like the bathroom and the floor is OK but I would prefer the floor without the darker stain..all distressed white.

In that room I would be ok with it if it were black and white and the room was black and white and gray.  Like it is, it is awful!
