If this is a wood floor I don't think this is a good idea. Water causes wood to buckle and warp. It maybe some of the new tile that looks like wood.

That floor looks like it would be hard to maintain.  I don't want any floor with cracks in it.  Dirt catchers.

Big mistake to have a wood floor in a bathroom.  Not a fan.
