If that's the color of the year, manufacturers surely don't know it. I've been looking for a pair of red violet pants for months.

If I could sew a couple of those towels together, they be perfect, if bulky.

A little of that color goes a verrrrrrrrrrrrry long way. The softer hue of the sunset vase is appealing.

It is a strong, vibrant color. I would like a light brushstroke of toned down color so would choose the Lenox and Villeroy & Boch.

Thank you for sharing these pictures @Desert Lily! When I first heard the Pantone color was Viva Magenta I thought "OK, not for me." It's still not my favorite, but after seeing your pictures I can see how I actually could live with small touches of it.

Nope, not having any of those colors in my house. The only thing I could live with is the fleece blanket and that would be out of sight most of the time.

When I think of magenta...none of these items pictured seem like magenta to me. They look like fuschia, hot pink, or burgundy in some photos. Beautful color in the blanket, but as others have said, a small amount of this color would be all that's needed brighten up a room...small touch=big impact.
