Paint colors question?

Hi everyone!

My husband and I need to paint our dining room, entryway and hallway and was wondering do the paint color have to match like in the different rooms like either all light colors or dark colors or is it fine to mix and match? We are going to get a sample from Home Depot its Behr paint- Cinnabark like a nice darkish brown for diningroom and we have our kitchen (right by the diningroom)which the previous owners have in a pretty like a sage green color and our livingroom is light neutral beige color and thinking the hallway and entryway the same neutral beige color, but wanted the dining the Cinnabark brownish color....What do you all think please? Would this look nice? Thank you for all your help...Sorry if this sounds confusing!! I'm not really good at interior design and such! Smile
