I have always had color on my walls.  From pale to deep.

This house has white walls and I'm really enjoying the change.  First time I've had white walls in about 50 years.

I have Macadamia by Sherwin Williams. Nice neutral warm color.

I just had the inside of my house painted in the last few months and I went with deep colors this time around.  I previously stuck to pale colors and white in the kitchen with an accent color on the trim.

The trim, doors and ceilings are all white, so it balances out the deep colors.

@Brisky, we built our retirement home which was a wonderful adventure for me.  My brother in law is an engineer so he did the design work.  We spent a lot of time in the planning stages and it certainly paid off.  Ours is a bungalow with a walkout basement.  We made all the doors wheelchair accessible/extra wide and tried to be thoughtful about aging.  Love it here.

Good luck!  LM

@phoenixbrd
Can you tell me what color you chose?
I have had four samples now all over walls and still not pleased. I do not want cast of green. Thanks
