@house_cat. You don't have to draw and I can't.   I learned brush strokes as you do in class.

 

Try a tole painting class.  It's buckets of fun and you will learn to see color in the way that I have as a child.

I'm not surprised we have the same taste in art, since we seem to have the same taste in recipes.  I'm not sure about getting in the zone, lol. I might have to dip into some of DH's medical marijuana! I can only imagine the results if I did that!  I'm also more than a little concerned about the two real cats that will be in my way. My old one wouldn't bother me, but the one year old might just get into the process and paint the entire house.
