Paint Treatment Around Interior Doors

What do you think of this look, giving the door a greater presence with a bold color and coloring outside of the lines?

Very interesting. I actually like it a lot. It really looks great in that room, but I wouldn’t want it in my traditional style home.

I can see it working in some applications, but it's not something that would work for me.

I think it works in the photo because of the trim around the door, it's pretty 'slim'...the trim around my doors is wider and would most likely look odd if I tried it.

I don’t care for the paint treatment in a home but maybe a waiting room or game room.
