This looks like a waiting room for an office.  It's okay there, but wouldn't want it in my home.

I like it - just not in that color! I'm not sure it has to be a bold color in order to still get the effect of a larger door presence!

For a home, it strikes me as the kind of gimmicky, 'trying-too-hard-to-be-cool' paint effect that they keep pushing in places like the HGTV magazine.  As others have said, it could be fun in commercial applications, pediatricians' offices, airports, etc.--  but still, a little goes a long way, in my opinion!

But then, I'm pretty traditional.  Maybe fans of ultra-modern design could find application for it.

I don't like it nor do I see the purpose of doing it.  Weird looking to me.

I like it a lot. I love color and I think this is really clever.

My house is antique so I don’t think I can pull off that particular look, unfortunately, but it has inspired me to think about increasing the visuals of door framing as I am redecorating.

I would definitely copy the whole look if I were in a more modern house.
