@OznellThis seems like it might be up your alley.  I think you tend to like blue and vases, no?

@LdyBugz ,  how sweet of you to think of me.  You are so right, I love blue and white-- and, no surprise, I've even noticed that "Tuscan" line from Nearly Natural before.  The vase you show IS up my alley, and has the added appeal for me of the light aging and distressing.

Tempting, but I must hold strong--I just ordered a set of glass candles during "free shipping", so am holding off on other items...

I really appreciate your alert, so kind!

@Oznell   Do you visit flea markets?

Paramour is a flea market junkie.  He travels up & down the east coast.

I showed him the picture & he told me he sees stuff like that at flea markets for around $10.   He did say he wouldn't pay no $30+.

Now, I should mention he knows nothing about antiques.  Smiley Tongue

@Mz iMac ,  I haunt antique shops mostly, thrift stores, and flea markets when I can get to them.  But a lot of it is just looking now-- a spectator sport.

Most of my collections ( which I've chopped down to much fewer collections and objects, as part of "clearing out"),  are vintage, antique, and second hand.  But, if I like something, it doesn't matter to me where it came from-- new, old, ebay, Amazon or QVC!

Luckily, I got the basics of my favorite things-- pewter, art, a few select antique furniture pieces, porcelain, old glass and pottery, etc.  when I was in my 20's and early thirties and lived in New Orleans.  So now, I don't pick up that much. Do like to "salt in" the odd modern, clean-lined piece, to keep things interesting and not too prim and fussy....  I don't like the 'museum' look!

@Oznell .. my husband and I go to antiques stores in Cape May, NJ; Galloway, NJ; and Bridgeton, NJ whenever we spend any time at the Jersey Shore.  We look for Vintage items.

Oh, @Boehm Collector ,  you have some choice places to look for treasures.  The thrill of the hunt, what fun!

@Oznell The vase is very nice.  But I understand about not overspending and accumulating too much stuff.  I have been getting rid of things and donating what I can.  Feels good to purge, plus I hate clutter!

Always fun to window shop, right?

Take care!
