This video of Shea McGee making over the guest bedroom in her parents' house is so good.  Of course, I always enjoy the clean classic style of McGee and Co., but it's even more fun to see a mother's pride in her daughter's accomplishment.  Such a sweet relationship!   And she seems genuinely thrilled.

In this dresser vignette, love the textures, the show-stopping metal bowl (wait till you see it up close in video), the wistful sketch, the clean chandelier with both modern and traditional antecedents, nubbly basket, bleached wood, and double gourd lamp.  Most of the elements are 'signature' McGee trademarks.  If you don't like pale neutral color schemes, you probably won't like...

Personal opinion--  Shea McGee's husband is cute!

Oh, the other thing I like, that I forgot to mention, is the giant long pillow in front of the sleeping pillows,  instead of a proliferation of small pillows.  I agree with her that it makes the required "statement" on a bed, but is easier to handle and less fussy looking....

The makeover turned out beautifully. When she was standing with her mom at the beginning (before she introduced her as her mom), I thought that was probably her sister doing the makeover with her. Her mom is very young looking.  😁

I loved the video @Oznell .  Thank you for sharing.  I went to her website to try and find the twisted white object on the books and couldn't find it.

I could be wrong, @NickNack ,  but I think that's the limestone knot sculpture (or very similar) that she does.

Studio McGee has a collaboration that they do with Target, to produce more affordable versions of their items.  I think you'll find it by going to Target and doing a search like: Studio McGee sculpture, or Studio McGee for Threshold sculpture or figurine.

Thank you @Oznell .  They don't have it at any of the stores in my area, and it's not available for shipping.  That's so disappointing.  I really like it.  Maybe they'll have it eventually unless it's something that they had for a while and discontinued.

I do like that collection at Target.  I've noticed it but hadn't put it together with the things that you show from her.

Oh, I know, it's so frustrating, @NickNack --  the art objects especially seem to sell out immediately.  Or Target won't ship certain items to my zip code, adding insult to injury!  I've had my eye on her chunky blond Paulownia wood vases, but have been similarly stymied....
