Oznell, I think you might like this tea set

@Oznell

This is from the acornonline site (from Acorn TV, which brings us Miss Fisher and other delights).

The glass can be stored on top of the pot to serve as a little cage for the bird on the lid!  I am very tempted. I love the cup so much.

They call it the "Wake Up, Early Bird" tea set.

That is just delightful, @GingerPeach .  You have such an eye for unusual, lovely objects.  Love the bird finial, too.

A glass cup for tea is one of my favorites as well.  I love to see the deep, sometimes 'ruby' color of fully steeped tea through glass-- so pretty.  Hubs got us some double-walled glass cups for cappucino, and I find myself reaching for them for tea, just to see the color through glass (if not "through a glass darkly", ha.)

Great find, thanks for showing!

When something combines birds with tea, I do think of you, @Oznell

And it comes with my best wishes for continued good health, too.  Heart

(I was hoping the cup came separately, but it's only a set.  I'd love the cup all by itself.)
