That's a shame if true. I'm sure it can be replenished, Jersey beaches always are.

Our local TV station showed flooding in Wildwood which is not unusual. Almost every time it rains hard or snows the sewers back up as they can't handle all that water. It has been that way since I was a child.
The beach looked Ok to me. The Ferris wheel on Morey's Pier was spinning all by itself, so it has to be windy. I'll check out the Wildwood web cams tomorrow. I hope everybody is safe there.

After hurricanes down here in Florida they wait til the water recedes back to where it normally is and then they just bring in sand and dump it. Expensive I'm sure but a necessity for the tourists, who bring and spend big big bucks.

When our kids were little Wildwood was our family vacay place of choice, sure hope is restored. Lots of good memories there.
