I have the advantage of having 2 Corky's Barbeque restaurants within miles of me, so I went in and picked up a large portion of pulled pork which I'll serve with slider buns. I went to the bakery and picked up a cheesecake and a carrot cake for dessert. Lots of champagne, wine and soft drinks. I'm going to prep the shrimp tonight and make the coleslaw right before the party, so it's crisp. Tonight I'll also set up the buffet and bar tables, etc. Am I missing anything?

Sounds delicious!...If I had to add anything, I would suggest a fruit platter also...What time do you want us all to get there?...lol

So...how did the party go? Which food items were scarfed up and which ones were left to languish? After 3-1/2 hours, was everyone really snockered or just asleep on the sofa...lol?

I'm sure they do, but at a party where champagne was being served, and the most glamorous night in Hollywood was being celebrated, cold cuts would have been a bit out of place.
