@MickD wrote:@crazycockermom what wreaths did you decide on??? I just purchased the egg...DH was okay with it.....like that mattered!
I didn't order the wreaths yet. Have the yellow in my cart and want to see the presentation. Also going to take SHOPR's advice. Not in a rush for the wreaths. But after reading your post, I went ahead and ordered the egg.

@SHOPR wrote:You may want to do a search for forsythia wreath and compare sizes, quality, as well as prices, because they are sold at lots of stores and sites. The quality of the cheaper ones may not be as nice as Valerie's, but it may be worth browsing around, just to see what's out there.
The mosaic egg sounds like a good choice because you can customize the color to match or complement your bunnies. I love those bunnies and their
distressed finish. I wonder how a distressed birdcage or wooden distressed (natural, stained, or whitewash finish) lantern would work between them? Hey, you could put the egg inside! LOL. It's fun spending your money instead of mine :-)
Thanks SHOPR! I appreciate the advice. I don't buy many wreaths and don't want to end up with a lot to store so I'm really trying to decide if I want these, but I thought something springy would lighten up my front doors. I'll watch her presentation and then look online.
I ordered the mosaic egg and hope it works. Funny you mention a lantern. I was eyeing one of the smaller luminara ivory ones, but didn't know if it was too clean looking. A distressed finish might look better. I also didn't know if it'd be weird to have a lantern right under my chandelier which is the focal point of the room. Also don't want anything too high in between the bunnies. Maybe a small birdcage. If I end up displaying then somewhere else next year, I could go with a larger birdcage or lantern.
Thanks for the ideas!! I'm honestly trying not to spend too much so trying to really think about my decisions. I've seen a lot of things in Valerie's show tonight that are tempting me though!

@crazycockermom, Oh yes, I remember your chandelier now. The egg may be all you want or need.
I had imagined a somewhat boxy looking lantern or cage. Below is a pic of one I saw at Overstock, although I think it's not wide enough for the egg. Just sharing what I found because I think it's a cool looking lantern. :-)

I think the mosaic egg will look great with your bunnies.....ENJOY!
And @SHOPR is right-- I see yellow wreaths similar to Valeries everywhere but quality does vary as do the price points......

Oh geez, I HAVE to have the yellow wreath, but not for that price. I have one on order from that popular fabric store, not sure I can say the name, for $19.99. And since I just won $20 off my Dallas Cowboy scratch off ticket - it's a freebie.
hope you love your egg, morewineplease.

The rabbits are really nice and so is your mom's dish. Am undecided about needing to add anything to them . Why not fill a shallow dish with pastel colored Easter candy?
Your front doors are what I'd call a *grand entrance* and think Val's wreaths would be totally dwarfed by them.
I'd bite the bullet and get something larger, more to scale, keeping away from bright spring-y colors and teeny flowers.
If your exterior is brown, I think dogwood pinks or Lenten rose colors really compliment earth tones.
Very pretty!

@Spurt. @yellowrose. @Lucky Charm
Thank you all for your input. I decided to hold off on the wreaths. After seeing the presentation, they didn't wow me. And I really don't want to spend $100 on wreaths right now. Have enough other items on my list. Will look around some and also look for them in as-is.
Since i I ordered the egg, I will see how that looks with the bunnies. I'll figure it out eventually, lol. But I do take into consideration everyone's opinions. DH is good to ask about some things, but this little decorating stuff would annoy him. So I appreciate all the advice I get here.

Cowboy scratch off huh. CONGRATULATIONS!....I hope Jerry Jones personally hand delivers your $20 to you....or maybe he will have Tony Romo do it, since he's still under contract though not the QB..it would give him something to do.... I know I'm just jealous because my team's a dysfunctional mess and I can't get seem to win a thing on those darn scratch offs any more.....

Maybe consider just the bunnies....nothing else. It may seem a little sparse to you at first, and they keep telling us we need things in threes, but pairs can work just fine as well.
I think the egg a bit 'glitzy' for the primitive look of the bunnies, and the scale not right for use with them.
If looking to fill the space a little better (do they look tiny and little in the middle of the table all by themselves?), try a tray or charger underneath them. Pay attention to color and finish, making it coordinate with their rustic look.
Or maybe a lantern in the center, with the bunnies, one on either side of it, or standing together beside the lantern. That would give you height and light. Try to keep the lantern more primitive in style or finish to coordinate with the bunnies.
Or a vase of fresh cut flowers matching some blues to the bunnies, and the vase color coordinating as well. It would lend height and fill the space, with the bunnies grouped with it as well.
