@SANNA: Even though we live in an open home we do have suites. We can close off many areas in our home.

Same with me. My house is very open and airy( I  the  walls knocked down when we moved ) and I have my master suite enclosed with French doors.

Ney.  While some have nice open feel,  I can't help but wonder how families are handling multiple functions going on at same time - tv, work, homework, etc.  I like quiet corners and don't like noise and mess from kitchen permeating house.
