Beautiful wood cabinets make the kitchen! I could not live with that mess.

I like the look of some open shelving but would NEVER have it myself.  When I need a dish, plate, platter or whatever, I need it.  I don't want to have to stop and wash and dry the item before I use it.  And I'm over and done with "dust collectors."  This kitchen is a hot mess to me.  I much prefer my outdated '80's kitchen to this.   If I ever get to redo my cabinetry, I would not be against some glass front cabinets, but not open shelving.

Unnecessarily ugly!  I wouldn't like it.   BUT it could be a heck of a lot better than this with a little paint and organization, editing and thought. 

It now screams "I went to Goodwill and got all this cool stuff for nothing!  And I got some leftover paint, and a scrap of wallpaper and this cool stool and  arug!  Isn't it great?"

I do not like open shelving but this whole kitchen reminds me of a "before" picture of a kitchen that's about to get remodeled.

I am not a fan of open shelving in the kitchen, unless it is just one small shelf, but otherwise I don't care for it!

This reminds me of my friends first apartment that looked like this but smaller......it's a no for me.

I don't like this at all.  It is way too cluttered.  My OCD would make me crazy!!
