Re: Open Concept Living and Dining. Why Not This?

I love open concept homes but this is just taking it to a level where it should NOT go!!  I've watched a gazillion House Hunters shows and occasionally, I see the master bedroom and bathroom that doesn't have doors dividing the two but they aren't open like this.

No, I just found it today. It would be a good joke.  You know, I only saw a toilet in one or two of about 20 or 30 pictures.  You don't suppose the toilet is in the closet do you?  Better yet, maybe they have an outhouse!!!!!

The bath and bedroom would be much smaller if there were a smaller wall around the bathroom.  The bath, however is the last thing I would want to look at.

This is not a very good design.

I say a big NO to this concept.  Open space is one thing, this is distasteful.

This is a definite no for me. For one reason I take a bath at night and I would not be able to do that without waking my husband up if we had this style of bathroom. And then I just prefer the bathroom area to be private.

Just thought of another reason to dislike this design.  There is no space for your "stuff".  Where are you going to put your shampoo and toothbrush and hair dryer and mascara and . . . .

No privacy in that place. I gotta have a door! That ceiling is gorgeous, wouldn't want to dust it though.
