I enjoy it when a friend sends me Christmas photos or stories all year long. It is a happy time.

I have noticed that we see a few Christmas Movies (Chevy Chase) in July and I usually catch Jaws in Dec./Jan. as well. I guess they think we need the distraction from the intense heat or the artic cold outside.

But shopping for Christmas presents that early is not on my wish list giving or receiving.

I've bought a few Christmas presents, believe it or not. I came upon a "too good to pass up" deal on an item and bought 7 of them, for the 7 girlfriends I exchange with. I know what I'm going to pair that item with and I've bought 3 of those. Going to take my time buying those since we're still in March! But when I see a great deal, I don't care what the calendar says.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I don't get it, I never did. Summers are short and while I love Christmas, I'm perfectly willing to wait for the real thing. Is there are July 4th sale in December?

Shhhhhh! If QVC reads this and thinks some of the viewers want it, they'll start Christmas in July in May. It might not bother me, but some people would literally "Have a Hissy"! But I do agree that when you see a bargain that is perfect for someone, you get it, even though it's just December 26th.

I started watching and buying stuff on the Q 20 years ago. For the last several years, the show has gone-hill and is painful to watch. When they start with the Xmas shows in July, I wish I could permanently disable the channel.

If ur looking for HOT weather, it's in the 90s in southern Calif. and I luv it.

I look forward to CIJ. I am one that likes to get Christmas shopping out of the way ASAP. I already bought two things, one for relative and another for friend. It feels good to cross them off as done on the list.
