I don't mind the ombre tile, though I'd have skipped the darkest tone in favor of something not quite so dark... As for the overall bathroom, no thanks... Positively medicinal in look...

While I probably wouldn't choose it, I thought it looked kind of cool until it got to that putrid shade of yellow (on the tile).   Otherwise I rather liked it.

 

I think I tend to go toward the area of 'stark', though, probably more than most.  I have such disdain for cluttered and busy that I will go more toward stark and feel comfortable.  Smiley Happy

This is definitely a minimalist bathroom! The tile doesn't do much for me....!

I agree. If you were to replace the yellow tiles with a very pale pink, it would flow as an ombre look. The yellow doesn't "go with the flow", if you will, but rather sticks out like a sore thumb.
