Re: Oh I am so through with Dyson

We just bought the Shark Lift Away and am amazed at the difference from the Dyson! I sound like a commercial, but the Shark picks up so much more than the Dyson, the deep down dirt in the carpet and tile grout! It's also much lighter and of course, half the price! Never again Dyson!

...I just bought a shark a month or so ago after reading all the great reviews and I am in love with it. It is light weight, no matter if your using it as an upright or using the tools, the amazing suction power remains the same. I can detach the canister and vacuum my stairs without lugging a huge machine or worrying that using the hose will decrease the suction. It is an amazing vacuum that aside from it's weight reminds me of the vacuums from the past. I have owned a dyson, a sears canister, a hoover, and a meile. This by far beats them all in my opinion and a Shark won't break the bank.

Now you sound like me :-)

I just replaced the Dyson Cordless with a Hoover Lynx for 1/3 the price and it works really well picking up the Kitty Litter I feel like the Energizer Bunny as it keeps going on and on WITHOUT having to hold the trigger. Not only that but the battery recharges in about 3 hours and there is a meter on the vacuum that shows how much battery is left. It of course is only for floors and carpets, but that is why I bought it.

The two year warranty is nice as well.

Re: Oh I am so through with Dyson

Admittedly, we have never owned a Dyson but considered making the investment numerous times due to having 2 dogs; however, I researched and read many reviews for a variety of vacuums and was hesitant to spend so much money. We decided on a Shark Lift Away and have never regretted it!

Re: Oh I am so through with Dyson

I was so excited to be finally able to afford a Dyson animal and I hate it. It is clumsy, doesn't clean well, and is a bear to store. I got the hand held Shark and I love it. I have used it to clean rugs that the Dyson failed to clean. It is small, but mighty.

Re: Oh I am so through with Dyson

Well, I own two (here in my house now) and I bought one for one daughter and the canister one for the other daughter (that makes 4 I've bought).

I have NEVER for one minute had any trouble with them. Once because I let the hose get so dirty because I s, cked up water and questionable stuff. I took it to the Dyson repair shop near me and he gave GAVE me a new hose, told me how to clean the hose next time and charged me ZIP.

I have friends that own Dysons and they love their Dysons.

I have bought four, three I own , one as a gift. They have the best customer service so as someone suggested if you are having problems call them, they really go all out for their customers. I think Dyson is the best., my oldest one I took down to my basement, it has to be about 12 years old and it's still working like it always did. I also own their fans and will be purchasing another one soon. Having nothing but good things to say about the products and the company.

I have lusted after Dyson machines (too much money for me) but I'm considering a Shark that is more in my budget. I think they're probably both well-made.

I have 2 kids and a dog and the place is always a mess!

Absolutely love my Dyson, I'm on probably my 4th one. The old ones never conk out, but I like getting a new model every few years and donate my old one to the local women's shelter. I do like the ball better, it is lighter and easier to move around.

If you have a BB&B near you an get the Fabulous Shark POWERED Lift Away for less than $300 with the 20% off and try it for yourself and return it if you do not like it (which I can not imagine)..
