Northern Nights Ashley 400TC Wrinkle Defense

Purchased in April 2013 for $59.96

SAME EXACT SHEETS - now $74.96

Quite a mark up in one year.

And the quality keeps going down. I have given up on NN sheets, as the last couple of sets I purchased barely fit and old style skinny mattress, and the elastic gave out in less than one year.

They used to offer the most beautiful and long lasting sheets, but I can't afford to take a chance on more that last just long enough to be out of the warranty period, then useless.

I noticed that price increase also ! The Wrinkle Defense are the only ones I have bought that are truly good sheets from QVC. They for sure do not wrinkle.

Quality of Northern Nights has gone way down. I bought a pair a few months ago and was extremely unhappy with them. It had been at least two years prior to that order since my prior experience.

I've conclude through sad experience that TV shopping channel are not the places to buy linens. I've gotten some remarkable krap, some from QVC but SHq is the record holder. Their quality is worse than Walmart's!

I've been looking at sheets - but really want cotton - probably 100% to help with temperature control (aka night sweats) - one website referred me here, but the brand is not listed any longer.

I agree. I ordered the NN Ashley sheets again and even though the price was higher than last year, the quality was not the same.

It's sad really, but I don't think QVC is the only one who has lowered their quality and that was the one thing I depended on with them for years.

Quality of NN has gone down. My old NN's are so much better than newer ones. Bought a set of all cotton from Amazon and that was a mistake. Thought they were very soft, but after washing twice they don't feel soft. Cannot return since I thought they were so great I didn't keep package. I'll learn. Was tempted to try HSN and I should have done that.
