Ostia Antica Roman toilets

At least this one has a touch of color in it. I think that helps a lot!

Visually cold. I don't find it appealing. I'd suspect this was the designer that "didn't make it".

This is such a definite no for me,

I can see not wanting any frills, but his is taking it to the extreme.

Ugly. Cold.

Somebody spent an exorbitant amount of money to make it appear as if these are eco-friendly bathrooms which cost a mere penance. Reminds me of movie stars and royals taking multitudinous private jet flights to give speeches on saving the planet.

Raw cement tub? Sitting in it wouldn't be so pleasant. Disinfecting a public restroom made of this stuff would be a nightmare. I can't imagine what the health departments would think.
