The only feature of this room I like is the fireplace.  I would empty the room and start over, t needs warmth and a big pick me up!

The only part of the room I care for is the fireplace and the mantel.  The rest is just too light and airy and the decor is definitely not my taste.  I'm not a fan of shiplap either.
