Thanks for your very kind reply greycatsrule & lovetoshoptoo. Like you styleIcon I am also looking for a taller lantern. Was lucky enough to get the cream 15"" Churchill one & want to get 2 more lanterns. I am on fence with these as I haven't even got a glimpse of them so will try to catch presentation tomorrow to see how these look.

I just ordered it in white for my bedroom. I was hesitant until I got to see it, Carolyn previewed it; couldn't order fast enough! I also wanted the churchill lantern in white so I'm so happy to get this one.

BTS, Isn't this new lantern in the same style as the set of 3 lanterns you recently ordered in red? I think they look really good. My choice would be the bronze.

Good morning SHOPR! You are correct! Those red lanterns are by far my most favorite purchase so far this year. They have the fancy textured glass insert that adds to the charm as well. I'll post pics when I can get DS to help me. This new Luminara lantern is very simple & a bit smaller than the Churchill lantern. The white will be perfect for my bedroom

Did anyone see the presentation and know if the candle is removable? Did they show how easy (or hard) it is to replace the batteries? I know that this was an issue with other flameless candle lanterns. It looks gorgeous!

The candle is not removable and the battery compartment is right on the bottom. The timer is a push button feature that I have on a few of my Candle Impressions candles. I prefer the slide switch but the push button is OK.

I ordered 2 white to replace 2 Luminara Lanterns that I bought years ago that have terrible battery life. The batteries last less than 2 weeks. They are hanging on each side of my Fireplace. I am thinking about ordering the red for my kitchen window. I love the new longer battery life.
