New HGTV show I enjoy - A Tale of two cities

They discuss what you can buy in two different cities for the same amount of money. I find it interesting how much of a difference there is sometimes.

When does this come on?  It isn't showing in my Tivo guide.  Thanks for telling us about it.  It sounds interesting.

Edited to say I found it.  It's called A Sale Of Two Cities.

That show has been done before under a different name called What You Get For The Money.

It was a good show, but pre-housing bubble popping.

Re: New HGTV show I enjoy - A Tale of two cities

I just found the show saw Phila/Oregon since I grew up in the suburbs of Phila I watched it. Each couple had $300,000 Wow what they got. They wanted to live in the city but for that amount of money in the suburbs of Phila they could have gotten way more with trains & buses to get them to work. The houses were very old & all I could think of is plumbing & electric problems in a house that old. It seems the couples were very pleased with their choices. I got to remember to find it again & record it.

This might be interesting.  I'll check it out, but another real estate show...  really...  It sure would be nice if they'd get back to doing some nicer design shows.
