We did not buy a Bosch after 5 different people we know complained non-stop about them.  Several of those folks had replaced a Bosch with a Bosch and were disappointed.  But they are quiet when they work.  The other problem is in our area we share one aurthorized repair person between 2 major cities.  So when you need service you can wait up to 30 days and then you have to be available that day or wait until the next month.

That was the deal breaker!  I know what ever I buy it is going to break, but having to deal with that kind of service- no way!
