@Abrowneyegirl It depends on your interior decor. The darker doors look good with a more contemporary Pottery Barn look.

I like it! I usually have to show my DH things too and he usually likes what I pick, if he doesn't then I keep looking but I don't think you can go wrong either way.

High contrast doors are very current and on trend. I see you have chosen to paint the french doors black which definitely would be my first choice. I like that you intend to paint the front door as well and hope you love the finished look.
I have recently attended a few social events in units in my building. In each home (and done by interior designers) the doors are painted the same color as the walls. I have never done this in any home I have owned and I'm not sure why, but I consider this to be a New York look. In fact now that I think about it, these units are owned by Manhattan transplants.🤔
