Ours to the office have a dark wood stain to match the medium dark wood floors we have.  Our woodwork is white, but these doors look great dark going into the office with dark floor, bookshelves and wainscoting.

I think the black color is lovely.  I like slate blue also - never seen french doors that color but think either color would be very pretty.

I have black French doors and love them.

So my vote is for black.  Enjoy whatever you choose.

I have decided to go with black as the front door is black.  I am going to have the inside of the front door painted glossy black to match the outside and have the office french doors also painted black.

I love french doors! I prefer white but if you like a dark color then I would select the dark slate blue. I think that shade will blend with most wall colors and not look as stark as black. I like colors that read different in the different times of day or lighting. It makes it just a bit interesting without having to do too much else.

I LOVE it!  I love French doors in general and the light they add to a sapce-great choice!
