I agree with most of the other posters that with a bit of color & a few changes this room would be very nice.

The flowers are pretty.  I know many like neutrals like this but not for me.  Just looking at the lack of color or interst in the picture lowers my happiness level

@stevieb The floors and windows are all acceptable.  Pop some red or blue and you will have a winner.

As is, it's a bit blah.  I agree, it needs an art piece over the mantel & some nice, contrasting colors.  It would then look more "alive."

Yes, adding color would definitely make the room warmer looking.  I would prefer art work above the mantle.  With these changes, the room would be appealing.

Agree, neutral, not offensive but boring.  A touch of color and beautiful art work over the fire place.

I can't imagine trying to watch TV placed that high on the wall/fireplace.

Probably not a good idea for most/many necks.

I really like this room, but the mantle/wall above fireplace need some decor.
