Both are terribly overpriced.  I use Purex detergent from Big Lots.  More economical and does the trick.  I wouldnt give any money to those goat milk thieves. Their prices are exhorbitant.

Been using Nellie's for over 5 years and will never consider changing. When you consider that you only use approx 1 tablespoon per load, it is very economical, actually.

I've mentioned before that my clothes come out smelling so clean and have no residue at all. I have been able to eliminate fabric softener so I factor that into the cost per load. Full disclosure: I sometimes add a scoop of Oxyclean to a white load, but not always.

@Reever  I have to agree with this on the Beekman side. Their prices are ridiculous, but they definitely have a large following. I use Nellie's and haven't had any issues. I honestly haven't figured out cost per load, but you use so little for each load that I'm sure it comes out to be equivalent to the Tide Simply (liquid) that I was buying.

If I were to buy a specialty laundry product I'd go with Nellie's. I used Beekman cleaning products and they weren't effective and the amount of product is a horribly low.

Actually, Nellie's in quite economical and contains none of the harsh ingredients found in Purex and other detergents.

It's Nellies for me too--got the 500 load bucket on auto ship--paid $49.99 from HSN a few years ago. that works out to be .09998 per scoop----not over priced in my world--does a great job too. what is way overpriced are those wooly balls by Nellies---is it 4 for $25? I got 6 for under $10 on AMZ>

I use Beekman's. I tried Nellies', but it left white specks on black items.
