Need to Brighten Up a Dark Corner?

Here's an idea that would add some oomph to your decor.  It would take some nerve but I love it.

I never want a cactus in my home (or in my yard).

But, I could see replacing these with other green plants (e.g. a large fern & a flowering plant) for the same effect.

@Kachina624      If that tree was artifiicial, I would take it!     (I have a few real ones outside that are up to the gutters, and I need to hack them down.  YES....the "needle challenge" is what's holding me back....)

had one abt that large . Every time I was cleaning / vacuuming around it , I somehow bumped into it and the thorns would stick me.

Finally , I got rid of the big plant.

Gorgeous!

I love the color combos, so unexpected and I'm usually a mostly neutral girl.

I also love the antiqued, aged wall treatment and colors...maybe it's legit aged....maybe it's faux aged who knows? The fact that you can't tell is key. Love it

There are some decor sites that sell artificial cactus plants.  I have some saguaros here at my home.

I love the chair.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Desertdi.  I always put on a pair of leather gloves before handling cacti.  I make a loop out of newspaper for picking them up if I transplant one.
