Need recommendations for the best bed sheets.

I have spent so much money and still they end up pilling. I had the best set a few years ago that didn't ever pill. They just finally fell apart after so much use. I don't know what brand they were, but I sure wish I did! Higher price and even thread count doesn't always make the quality better. Anyone have a favorite brand that they love?
