A couple of years ago, I purchased these turkey baskets from the Q - H05659

I've never quite been able to figure out how to put flowers in them. Last year, I put faux floral stems in them, but you could see all the stems through the rattan and it looked messy.

Should I use some kind of filler in the bottom and short stems out the top? What else could I put in these?

They are really quite large. I usually put them both on the hearth of my fireplace (they are just too big for anywhere else).

Tips? Ideas? Thanks in advance
