@Oznell

Slightly harrowing?

Fabulous windows and views but I couldn't live there.

I like the glossy ceilings - they add energy, dimension, and shimmer to some of the spaces; looks particularly nice on the ceiling in the night-time photo.

With the exception of the day-time library photos and bathroom, the photos that include views to the skyline seem to show the colorful furniture and colorful wall art located near the windows - the colors are a nice contrast/delineation to the monochromatic skyline view.

@Oznell , I always enjoy your posts.  Interesting  this time.  Some parts I like, others not so much.  Love the ceiling!  That wraparound couch had me looking for the tv.  The hallway was gorgeous but too much stuff in it for me.  Like others say, if someone offered me this, I would jump right in and enjoy.

Love the before photo without furniture.  Let's you appreciate what a change it makes.  Mostly I like!  LM

@Tinkrbl44 ,  I didn't see the square footage in any of the features on the apartment.  I think there were at least two bedrooms, several baths, the living room, library, kitchen-dining area, so it seemed at least medium-sized.

I didn't care for the bedrooms.

@QVCisFun ,  I liked that library ceiling too, it was burnished and almost like polished faux tortoieseshell!

It was the living room ceiling I had problems with.  In some photos, it photographed too bright and garish.  Here's a better living room picture than the one I posted, to show it--

But like I said, in other shots, it didn't look that shiny and intrusive.  I'm not against gilded or metallic ceilings per se-- they can be very subtle and glimmering.  The dean of American designers, Albert Hadley, did beautiful silver tea-leaf ones that were very enhancing.

I'm not surprised at the lack of enthusiasm for some furnishings.  For some reason, Art Deco period furniture and some decor, is a hard sell for Americans, in particular.  This mix of Deco and also traditional antiques, with modern, is right up my alley though.

Kinda cluttered. Too many throw pillows. Our view is better.

Not my taste, although there were parts that were...  I did like the bathroom.   HOWEVER....  i could live there in a heartbeat.   OMG ... now THAT is my kind of apt!!!!  Look at the views and the high ceilings.  Even the hallway was fabulous.   I'd probably clear out a lot of what I'm seeing.   I prefer a more modern approach,  which would have been a great contrast to the bone of this apt.    @Oznell   thanks for posting.

Oh, @Lilysmom1 ,  I meant to comment on your remark about the "before" picture.  I always think that too, and love it when they include those, in any renovation!  I wish more designers would do that-- it gives us a much better feeling for what they had to contend with at the beginning...

Thanks for the additional photo @Oznell  .  I like that gold ceiling.  And I like the Art Deco pottery pieces in the foreground.  While looking more closely at the pottery, I noticed that the metal log holders in the fireplace are made up of two cobras.  I like them too.

Like other posters, I love the view, but nothing else.  I prefer the bare drywall to the chosen finishes ;-)

Wow, I missed the cobras, sharp-eyed @QVCisFun .   Just enlarged photo and sure enough, there they are. Interesting!
