I made one of my rare forays to Home Goods the other day, and was really struck by the new "tea ware" they had there, for great prices, and other traditional style china.
Loved these offerings from Grace Tea Ware. They had lots of butterflies:
Of course there were whole tea sets that included these creamers, tea pots, cups and mugs, plates. etc. For the price they were very nice. Most of their sugar bowls and creamers were $4.99, for example.
The many different patterns were gorgeous. Loved this Black Josephine, with its stripes and pin dots:
I esp. like banded china, so was drawn to this Pin Dots Pink, which they also do in green:
Loved all the floral and butterfly patterns too-- and the timeless Regency shapes, etc.
I decided to hunt for a video that showed some of the latest finds at Home Goods. "Shopping with Irene" blogger did a good one. She showcases the tea ware, but also goodies like Italian pottery and Murano glass:
Even hard working things, like Pfaltzgraff casseroles:
I like that she shows the prices as part of her tour...
Anyway, it was fun to browse, both in person and online. Makes me happy to look.
Has anyone else here been to Home Goods recently? I could not believe how bustling it was.

@Oznell : I love all of those beautiful china pieces. At this point in my life, I no longer shop all the stores looking for the perfect pieces for my home. It's sad as I love to shop.

@Oznell @Hoovermom Lovely tea services.
The Home Goods store near me is between a great Italian market and an equally good bagel shop. Nearly impossible to get home without multiple packages, but I do shop with lists because I am determined not to add items i know I won't use often, mostly because there's already something in my small home that serves the same purpose.
Even the thrift shops are showing evidence that I am far from uncommon in having overshopped way too often. It's not even fun to try to find a rare hidden gem because the racks and shelves are so very jam packed.

Very pretty, @Oznell. I hate to burst your bubble, but just this morning I saw a video of a guy doing lead testing on all kinds of pottery and china at Home Goods and the results were not favorable. 🙁

I have been a fan of Home Goods for a long time. Whether I buy or browse I enjoy shopping there because of all the lovely things they have. The tea ware is beautiful and if I didn't have so much decor, I would go to Home Goods and buy a set or two!!!!! I especially like the butterfly design!
Since Home Goods is so close by I will go just to see the items in person. I will look and want but end up admiring !

I love dishes and cookware! Guess it's good I don't live in a large house.
This is my favorite for desserts and tea
