I love water views.  They certainly made the outlooks a great part of the design of this home.  It's vey welcoming.  I could live there.

Another amazing post @Oznell

The living room is nice but eclipsed by all of the other rooms. (I don't care for the rug or the wood stashed in the wall).

I would live on the dining porch! Dining heaven. I would move the table out and put a bed out in the nice weather. What a beautiful, peaceful view.

The hall illuminated by the beautiful light going into the bedroom was beyond...Heart

What a lovely combination of coziness with beautifully serene, lightfilled rooms! Of course, we would all wish to add our own touches to each room, however, one could simply move right in and start enjoying the spectacular views. Thank you @Oznell for sharing this graciously inviting home!

Re: NEW ENGLAND FAMILY ROOM

[ Edited ]

Beautiful views and windows!

I like most of the family room furnishings, but not the rug or the storage of wood in the house. A bit more color would be nice since the walls and furnishings are neutral. I'd prefer more color in the outdoor dining furnishings too.

I like the idea of eating nooks to save space, but I'm not sure a narrow wooden bench is practical or comfortable.
I don't like the print used on the breakfast nook cushions, and the chairs look uncomfortable.

The hallway is light, airy, and pretty, but two or three paintings is enough for me. I love greenery, but wondering if those hanging branches will brush people as they walk down the hallway.

Re: NEW ENGLAND FAMILY ROOM

My first impression is to recoil from the real wood fireplace and the wood storage inside the house:

1.   Spiders and stuff

2.   Who is gonna bring all that wood in?

3.   Which servant is going to clean out the ashes every time?

I have become addicted to my remote control gas fireplace.  Perhaps gas is not an option in that area.

Love this!  Especially love everything about the living room. These are my colors. I have some of the blue vintage around my living and dining room. I may be "odd man out" on the rug but I'm in love with it and think it adds just the right touch of needed print in the room.

This beautiful home is very New England.  I like all of the rooms except for the first (featured) room which, IMO is kind of grandma-ish. Maybe it's the rug? Maybe the furniture? I feel like the other rooms have a chic/elegant ambiance, while the family room is kind of shlumpy (although the bones are good.)

WOW  @Oznell

Gorgeous!  So incredibly inviting!   Each & every room!  I LOVE every nook & cranny.

On the Patio, are those columns hiding pull out shielding?  If so, I wonder what they'd look like that would compact so keenly into a column.

I love LOVE all the brightness & windows.  It's a must in places I live.

And impressed by the recessed Wood Pile!  Enhances the actual Fireplace & Fire wonderfully.  Keeps the wood dry also, ready to be used, without cold trips outside, in Vermont snow, to fetch more, often wet wood, per each indoor fire.

Okay,  It's mine!

I wonder if they have a garage? And how that would integrate into the total Indoor/Outdoor ambiance.

And what the outdoor view home looks like.  Just wondering.

Again @Oznell   you came thru with gorgeousness!  Thank you!  Woman Very Happy

For me New England is my favorite part of the country.  This house is beautiful.  I would make some changes to suit my taste but most of it is very appealing and lovely.  The porch, hallway and entryway are standouts .  I love all the space.  This is a home I could easily live at and be content.
