NEUTRALS + Pops of Color & Pattern

I know many of you prefer neutrals and just a hint of color or pattern.  I like patterns and colors with a hint of neutrals.

How about some rooms with mostly neutrals and some pops of color, like these?

@SoX - this looks like something that you would like.

Yes, I like them!  Especially the living room.

Yes, I do like ... my LR and DR "canvas" is completely neutral (beige) ... walls, drapes, carpet, sofa, and one fabric chair.  This gives me a chance to run wild, stay soft, go bold ... whenever the mood strikes.

I change pillows and throws and table cloths  at least four times a year ... I also use rugs to change the tones within each area.

Re: NEUTRALS + Pops of Color & Pattern

There's such a range with color, its intensities and tonalities.  I tend to like soft, sort of "off-colors",  so the bright neon orange in the first picture would not work for me-- but easily subtracted from that comfortable room.

I find the chartreuse in the neutral kitchen to be refreshing and playful, and I like the soft celery green in the room with deep chocolate walls...
